HAPPY MONDAY!

Today is a great day! I have so much energy. Of course it didn't hurt that my husband let me sleep in this morning!
This picture is my latest accomplishment! This was made for my cousin who made her First Communion this past weekend. I was so thrilled to make this for her. This is a rectangle french clip covered in white satin ribbon, embellished with white satin and beaded flowers, with white tulle.
Now...I am off to finish my other projects!

Have a great day!

Random Thought in Progress....

I know I just posted but....oh well...I am posting again.
So....I decided to Google "Mag Pie by Melissa". There are several businesses and blogs out there with the title of "Mag Pie". But the odd part (at least to me anyway) is that almost every single business or blog with "Mag Pie" is owned by someone named Melissa!! I just found that absolutely amazing!! I almost want to contact these other Melissa's and ask them "Why Mag Pie? What is your story behind it?"

Anyway, that was my random thought for the night!

WOW.....

Holy Smokes....It has been since November since I've posted anything! I am horrible about keeping up with the blogging!
Well.....So much has gone on since November! Mag Pie has done quite a few craft/trunk shows and is now being carried in two stores. You can find Mag Pie hair bows and headbands at Changes in Ghent of Norfolk, VA. You can also find Mag Pie headbands and bow holders at The Silver Rattle!

Here are just a few of the new bow holders I have been working on. I will try my hardest to start posting more!

Bow/Headband Holders

Having two little girls who love bows and headbands can be a challenge. If you are anything like me, the majority of the time those bows and headbands get thrown into a drawer. At the request of some of my friends, I have made some bow/headband holders. The ones shown are just a few of what I can do. I also do the painted letter ones.....so stay tuned those pictures will be coming soon!
The large bow holder has loops that go down the side to hold the headbands. The bows then can be attached to the ribbon in the middle. And of course all bow/headband holders can be special ordered! ENJOY!!

Halloween

Halloween was awesome!! My daughters were dressed up as a Fall Fairy and Snow White. My mom-in-law made their costumes but I made the accessories. (ie: the headbands and Katie's wand.) I was so excited at how well they turned out!

Headbands

I love making headbands. These woven headbands are so much fun to create. You can order them to match any outfit!!

WELCOME TO MAG PIE

At the extreme urging of my great friend, Laura Scott, I am finally blogging about myself and what I do.

Hi....My name is Melissa Scott and I am Mag Pie!
I make hair bows, headbands, hairbow holders, baby blankets and possibly more. I love to create. I have two little girls so naturally I love all things girly. I like more classic looks. I am more of a sweet and simple type person.

So....I hope you like what I have to offer and stay tuned!!
